Implementation and Development Sometimes this process only amounts to loading QuickBooks or Peachtree onto one computer and setting the variables and parameters of the software to automatically produce the particular data that you have decided will be useful. Some examples might be inventory turnover, employee productivity, job costing, profitability of a particular division, or perhaps you are only interested in enough financial data to keep the Government and Insurance Companies off of your back. Other times the system might consist of multiple computers that are networked. The data you wish to produce may require more than one program, custom designed software, or both. In any case, the results should be the same, the maximum accounting for the minimum dollars. It would be nice to boast that we get everything right the first time but that wouldn't be true. It is impossible to anticipate every possible combination of circumstances that might develop in an ongoing business.
